Black and white images for a headshot can be absolutely stunning.
This client wanted to update her headshots for her realtor business. She wanted to set herself apart from other realtors and talked with me about using black and white headshots for that purpose.
She was quite nervous about having her headshots made as she felt a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera. I let her know that I would take care of all the posing and lighting, so she did not have anything to worry about.

We also decided to create the headshots in her home in Tampa, so that she would feel more comfortable. She had access to all her clothing, makeup and accessories so that she did not have to worry about forgetting anything. It was much more convenient for her.

As I knew what colors would translate best into black and white, I advised her on the best colors to choose. Not only to complement her look, but to really pop in black and white.
The results speak for themselves. As she was guided into poses and expressions, she really shone. During the session she didn’t really know if the headshots were coming out well or not, but I reassured her that she had nothing to be concerned about. I knew she was going to look incredible!
