Father’s Day surprises…

Both of these Dad’s got surprise images for Father’s Day…dad with his 3 grown sons and new dad with his new little one.  The image of Gary with his 3 grown sons is just great because you can see the pride in his face and the joy of being there with his children.  Mary Jo is going to decorate her family room with canvases of all the different poses of the entire family group as well as individual separates.  What a keepsake that will be for the family throughout the years.  The one with her new little grand-daughter and her son is so precious because of the “smile” that you can see on daddy’s face.  No, you can’t see his face, but you CAN see the delight in the smile crinkles around his eyes.  I just love this one!

Super Dad – the Younger…

As you can see by these pics, I have a real live Super Dad for a step-son!  But he IS the “younger” version of my husband.  Somewhere along the way, long before I met my husband, he started saying,  “They don’t call me Super Dad for nothing!”   Yes, my husband does actually have a resemblance to Superman.   So, since my step-son is named Miles (the younger) and not junior and my husband is Miles (the original?), we now must call Miles, the younger, Super Dad – the Younger!  Anyway, we took these several weeks ago in order to give some to my husband for Father’s Day as a surprise.  We chose the more classic ones in white for my husband to match the gallery of  family images that he now has, but I made sure that we got the Super Dad images of Miles and his daughter, Alexa as a special keepsake for them.  Hope everyone had a very special Father’s Day.  And an especially wonderful wish for everyone that is celebrating a First Father’s Day this time around!

Lots of love flowing here…

W and B came in with little L when he was only 5 days old.  I love getting to create portraits of the newest little people when they are this young.  Can you see that this baby is not going to be put down very often?  Everyone is just glowing, including (or should I say, especially) Grandma!

Exquisitely Formal Portraits for a formal home

Annette came in last week to have portraits created of her two children.  She was looking for something very formal to go in a certain area in her home.  She brought in a beautiful chair from her husband’s office and we added pillows and silks from my collection to coordinate with her wall color.  The children were great ( as they always are) and we got awesome expressions befitting the mood of the portraits.  This is a sneak peek for you, Annette.  Enjoy!  You’ll get to see the rest this week.  See you soon!
